Sandy Springs Police Department will be monitoring the winter weather conditions for this evening into Monday. Trucks are on standby to sand bridges and some thoroughfares in the City. Please monitor the weather, use extreme caution and stay off the roads when snow and/or ice begin to fall. Stay tuned to your local news stations for information.
Sandy Springs Police, Sandy Springs Fire, and Rural Metro EMS will be prepared and on standby.
Please remember when Emergency vehicles are responding to you, we are traveling the same roadways. It's possible it could take our Emergency response units a little longer to get to you.
