During the overnight hours between January 5th and this morning several stealings occurred in neighborhoods near Topping and Thornhill. The first stealing occurred in the 12900 block of Topping Road. An I-Pod, camera and Ray Ban sunglasses, totaling just under $500, were taken from several unlocked vehicles parked in the driveway. Another stealing occurred in the 1800 block of Woodmark. In that theft two speakers and a Blackberry charger, totaling over $600, were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

In the latter incident four black males were observed running from a car alarm around 3:20 am on January 4th. They fled eastbound on I-64 in a stolen Dodge Charger.
