Reminder - The IL Dept of Transportation will close the US 60/62 Bridge (Old Cairo Bridge) on January 11th. 
The IL Department of Transportation has announced that it will close the US 60/62 Bridge (Old Cairo Bridge) effective January 11th.
It is estimated that the bridge will be closed for at least one year.
During this time, citizens will have to utilize the I-57 Bridge to travel to Illinois or Kentucky.
