Subject(s) gained entry into a vehicle parked at 3401 N.W. 42 Avenue (Red Roof Inn) by prying the driver’s side door handle. Once inside a cell phone, suitcase and ten pieces of clothing were removed; estimated value of items is $770.00.

Subject(s) removed a vehicle parked in a driveway of a residence in the 500 block of Wren Avenue. The estimated value of the vehicle is $9,000.

Subject(s) gained entry into a vehicle parked at 3401 N.W. 42 Avenue (Red Roof Inn parking lot) by shattering the driver’s rear door. Once inside subject(s) removed a laptop computer, camera, three I-pods, three video gaming systems, three remote control helicopters and three chargers. The estimated loss is $2,010.00.

Subject(s) gained entry into a vehicle parked at 3501 N.W. 42 Avenue (La Quinta Inn parking lot) by punching a hole in the door just under the handle. Once inside subject(s) removed several tools, a camcorder, cell phone, watch and two suitcases containing miscellaneous clothing. The estimated loss is $4120.00.

While a guest at 3401 N.W. 42 Avenue (Red Roof Inn) was unloading his vehicle he left a computer up against a rear tire while taking his luggage into the Inn. When he returned to retrieve the computer, it was gone. The estimated loss is $1200.00.

Subject(s) shattered a vent window on the driver’s side back door of a vehicle parked at 241 South Royal Poinciana Boulevard (apartment complex) to gain entry. Once inside subject(s) removed a stereo from the dash and a speaker, amplifier, baseball glove and a pair of cleats. The estimated loss is $1380.00.

Subject(s) gained entry into a vehicle parked at 1111 South Royal Poinciana Boulevard (Holiday Inn) by smashing in the driver’s side window. Once inside subject (s) removed a GPS from the dashboard and ransacked the center console removing some loose change. The estimated loss is $400.00.

0653 hrs

Officers responded to a motion detector alarm at 3600 N.W. 42 Avenue (Office Depot). Upon arrival they observed that subject(s) appeared to have used a vehicle to break open a steel rolling door in the loading dock area; a rear car spoiler was left at the scene near the door.
A K-9 unit responded and searched the interior of the building with negative results. A search of the building with the assistant manager revealed that an HP Touch Smart computer was found on the display counter, the subject(s) were unable to remove the computer due to it having security wire cords attaching it to the display table. A search of the rest of the building was conducted; nothing else seemed to be disturbed.
