Detectives are looking for a suspect who broke into a residence in The Oaks subdivision in Land O Lakes on 12-8-10.

Pasco Sheriff's detectives are looking for a suspect who broke into a residence in The Oaks subdivision in Land O' Lakes at about 1 p.m. on Dec. 8.

Two unknown suspects forced entry into the home via the front door. The suspects stole flat screen televisions valued at $2,500. A 13-year-old girl was home at the time of the burglary and came face-to-face with one of the suspects, which caused them to flee. The suspect she saw was described as a black male, 18 to 25 years of age, with a goatee, wearing a red and white striped golf-style shirt, wearing a black jacket and a pair of jeans. Both suspects fled the victim's residence with the stolen property after seeing the witness inside the residence.

A composite sketch is being released on the suspect that was seen.

There have been a number of similar burglaries along the State Road 54 corridor in Pasco the last month or so. It is unknown if these suspects were involved in those burglaries, however the method of operation is the same, i.e., daytime break-ins.

Anyone with any information about the suspect or burglaries is asked to contact Detective Chad Tadlock at 352-518-5020.
