DATE: Saturday, December 18, 2010

Lower Paxton Twp. Police are investigating three reported residential burglaries, two of them likely related. A resident of the 5800 block of Devonshire Heights Rd. reports that he returned home yesterday evening after being out of town for a few days to find that someone had forcibly entered his residence and ransacked his home. He is still checking to see what if anything was stolen. Residents of a home in the 5800 block of Longview Rd., which is in close proximity to the Devonshire Heights Rd. home, discovered that someone had attempted to forcibly enter their residence between 8:00 AM yesterday and midnight last night. It does not appear at this time that entry was gained. A resident of the 4200 block of King George Dr. in the Brook Apartments reports that someone attempted to forcibly enter his residence between 11:00 PM last night and 8:45 this morning. It does not appear that entry was gained there, either.
