Sandy Springs Police, along with other metro-area police agencies, are asking motorist to heed information this evening concerning inclement weather and driving conditions.
With the onset of inclement weather and freezing temperatures, please use caution and plan your drive with padded time built in for delays. Expect weather delays and please monitor traffic reports. If you don't need to go out, don't.
On the road, give and take some extra room between cars so that sudden stops won't catch you without room to stop. Drive slower and pay attention to the traffic ahead.
