The Uxbridge food pantry will be coordinating help for the fire victims on Hazel St. A fund has been set up at Unibank where monetary donations may be sent. Checks may be made payable to the "12 Hazel St. Fire Victim's Fund" and mailed to Unibank, 25 N. Main St. in Uxbridge, MA, 01569. Two families are involved one is a single dad with 3 children: 13 year old boy, 10 year old boy and 7 year old girl. The other family is a 20 year old on-call firefighter and his mom.

Clothing donations can be dropped off at the food pantry (19 Douglas St., Uxbridge, MA) on Weds. 11 AM -1 PM and 6:30 PM – 8 PM --please use the front entrance. We will also be collecting donations this Saturday from 9 PM -2 PM at the pantry. No big items please. In the coming months we may ask for furniture type items-but we can't take those items until the families find a home.

Emergency items needed: blankets, personal care items-shampoo/conditioner/brushes/combs/toothbrushes/toothpaste, clothing, gift cards to food establishments and clothing stores, and food. Monetary donations are especially needed as these families will need to find new places to live--which is very costly.

We appreciate any help you can give these families and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask!
