Credit Card Stealer Targeting Fitness Centers in Vista, San Marcos & San Diego.

Detectives from The Sheriff's Department Vista Station want your help in identifying a man wanted for stealing credit cards from locker rooms of fitness centers in Vista, San Marcos and San Diego.

On Tuesday, November 9, 2010, between the hours of 6:30-8:00 p.m., the man entered the 24-Hour Fitness, located at 324 Sycamore Ave. in Vista, and cut the lock off of a locker. He then stole a credit card from inside a wallet.

At 8:20 p.m., the man was caught on surveillance video entering the Target Store, located at 1751 University Drive in Vista where he made more than $400.00 in purchases using the stolen credit card. He also used the credit card at a local 7-11.

The suspect is also responsible for breaking into lockers and stealing credit cards from the LA Fitness in Vista, San Marcos and the city of San Diego. He has charged an undisclosed amount of money at various businesses around the County.

Suspect Descriptions: White male adult, between 40-60 years old, approximately 5’9- 5’11” tall with a medium build and wears glasses.
