On 11/13/10 around 1428 hours, a white 28 year old female, who is seven months pregnant, was walking in the Costco parking lot at 2300 Fenton Parkway. Two Hispanic women in a 1990s burgundy Mercury Sebring pulled up next to her. The passenger in the car reached out and grabbed the victim’s purse. The victim was dragged several feet, but kept her purse. A citizen witnessed the crime and followed the suspect vehicle and called the police. Officers located and stopped the suspects at the southbound I-15 on ramp from Friars Road. Both women aged 30 and 38 were arrested for attempted robbery. The victim was transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Eastern Division is investigating.
