3 Eldorado Children Missing

The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office detectives are looking for information regarding the whereabouts of 3 missing children residents of Eldorado, NM in Santa Fe County. They each attend Eldorado Elementary School.

On December 8 around 12:30 pm twin boys Timothy and Justin 10 years old and 8 years old Emily were picked up for lunch by their father Stephen Hilla who shares custody of the children with his ex-wife Johanna. She agreed to the luncheon but expected them to be returned within a reasonable time. He did not show up with the children nor did he try to contact her in anyway. She tried to contact him repeatedly to no avail. She also went to his home to find no one there including his 2 dogs which was unusual. It is believed that he has taken them against the court issued joint custody order.

It is believed that Stephen Hilla may be headed to his hometown of Wilmington, NC where he had stated he had a job interview waiting for him. Mr. Hilla’s place of employment was contacted and they stated that he had not shown up for work nor did they have any plans of sending him to North Carolina.

Stephen Hilla is described as 6.4 feet and 170 lbs. He has blonde hair and blue eyes, average build. He drives a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 two- wheel drive, dark blue truck, extended cab, no tinted windows, good condition, no rims. New Mexico license plate 101-PTD.

Timothy is blond and Justin has darker hair (see attached pictures). The dogs are described as a Black Chow/Labrador mix by the name of Ripped and a Red/Tan Miniature Datsun by the name of Cedar.
