INCIDENT: Burglar Caught By Police After Breaking Into Neighbor's House

On November 2, 2010 at 06:52 pm Gloucester Township Police was dispatched to 509 Linda Avenue in
Gloucester Township for a resident who came home to find a burglar in his house. The burglar ran out the back
door upon seeing the resident. The victim had prescription medications stolen from his house.

Arriving officers quickly radioed in a description of the suspect. The victim advised the officers that he
believed that the suspect was a neighbor who lived across the street.

Officers set up a perimeter in the area while a K-9 Unit was requested from the neighboring Lindenwold Police
Department. One of the officers detained a suspicious person, later identified as Timothy McMorrow of 600
Linda Avenue, on a bicycle path neaby the burglarized residence. The K9 Officer and his K-9 Partner tracked
from the rear of the burglarized residence to the exact location where the suspect, Timothy McMorrow was
being detained. The stolen proceeds of prescription medication was found in the possession of Timothy
McMorrow.

Further investigation by Gloucester Township Police Detectives further identified the suspect, Timothy
McMorrow as the burglar seen by the victim.

Timothy McMorrow was remanded to Camden County Jail on charges of Burglary, Theft, and Possession of a
Controlled Dangerous Substance on $50,000.00 / 10% bail.
