Advisory

Odd/even winter parking ban in effect as of 12/1. Check out www.manchesternh.gov for details.

Just a reminder…Effective Midnight, December 01, 2009, the Winter Parking Ordinance for the City of Manchester went in effect. Pursuant to this ordinance, parking on city streets is regulated between the hours of 0100 and 0600 hours. Where vehicles are allowed to normally park on both sides of a city street, parking will now be limited to one side of the street, depending on the date. On even numbered dates, vehicles are allowed to park only on the side of the street where addresses are even-numbered. On odd numbered dates, vehicles can park on the side of the street exhibiting odd numbered addresses. For example, tonight at midnight, vehicles will be allowed to park on the even numbered side only since the date will be 12-08-09.

This ordinance is not applicable to those streets or sections of streets where parking is allowed only on one side. Vehicles will continue to be allowed to park on the designated side, regardless of the date. Overnight Parking is prohibited in the circular portion of a cul-de-sac however.
