Readington Twp Police arrest adult male within 2 hrs of burglary on Pulaski Rd. See Email alert for full message.
On 12/02/2009 at approximately 4:30 pm, the Readington Township Police Department responded to a burglary that was just discovered on Pulaski Road. The actor stole a laptop from the residence.
The Detective Bureau, put out a description of the laptop stolen in the burglary to surrounding police department via the "Critical Reach System", an intra-net used by police agencies.
The Bound Brook Police Department made a motor vehicle stop of a blue, extended cab pickup truck. The officers recognized the computer inside the vehicle as the one sent out via the alert system.
Harry J Gorman of Macungie, Pa. confessed to the burglary. Gorman is an "Irish Traveler" who previously sealed the victim's driveway.
Residents should be alert that many driveway sealing organizations are covers for criminal organizations. Specifically, "Gypsy Pavers" and "Irish Travelers" are a connected group of travelling workers who are routinely involved in thefts and other crimes.
