The Pasco Sheriff's Office has released surveillance video of an armed suspect who robbed a NPR 7-11 store.

The Pasco Sheriff's Office has released surveillance video of an armed robbery suspect.

The male suspect entered a 7-11 located at 6315 Rowan Road, New Port Richey around 4:34 a.m. on October 15, 2010.

The suspect, armed with a large butcher knife demanded money and cigarettes and threatened to stab the clerk if she did not comply. The suspect walked around the back sales counter and removed cash from the register and four cartons of cigarettes from a storage cabinet. The suspect then exited the store placing the cartons on the trunk of his car. The suspect entered the vehicle and sped away with the cartons of cigarettes still on the
trunk. The cartons fell to the ground and were recovered.

The suspect was last seen driving southbound on Rowan Road. The suspect is described as a white male in his early to mid twenties, wearing a black hat and blue jean shorts. He was driving a red Pontiac two door vehicle.
