Full Notification

This morning just before 3 a.m., officers responded to a call for police in the 8900 block of Beckleycrest regarding a dark colored vehicle stopped in the middle of the street with its lights on. The caller stated that the driver may be injured because several gun shots had been heard in the area a short time earlier.

On arrival, the officers found the victim, Jorge Lopez-Salinas L/M/4-23-76, shot in the vehicle. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. There is no motive or suspects identified, nor are there any witnesses to the actual shooting. Detectives are interviewing the victim’s relatives at this time.
