Robbery at Wells Fargo Bank

The North Richland Hills Police Department is currently investigating a robbery that occurred this morning at 7:20 AM at the Wells Fargo Bank (6700 Iron Horse Drive). The suspect reportedly displayed a black semi-automatic weapon as he confronted a bank employee arriving for work. He then directed the employee into the bank and stated it was a robbery. Once inside the bank the suspect for reasons unknown, abruptly fled from the bank and ran into a nearby apartment complex located across the street from the bank.

Witnesses reported the suspect may have been seen leaving in a vehicle described as a Silver Dodge Neon or similar vehicle with a tail light out and a number of hubcaps missing. Reportedly, no employees were injured and no money was taken during the robbery.

Suspect: unknown race, male, 5’8”- 6’0”, average build, wearing a brimmed hat, full mask, dressed in all black clothing carrying a black backpack and armed with a black semi-automatic pistol. In bank -surveillance cameras captured images of the individual entering the location. These images were turned over to the North Richland Hills Police Department.
