Water treatment facility shutdown begins Sun., Oct. 24. Backup system will be used, but don't worry, it's safe!
Brooklyn Park’s water treatment facility renovation and expansion project is almost done and several key piping connections will soon take place. In order to get the job done, the water treatment plant will be taken off-line starting Sunday October 24. The City will make use of the backup system. But don’t worry, this system meets primary drinking water standards and is safe for everyone!
The work at the water plant will take approximately three weeks and utility customers may experience discolored water and pressure variation during this time.
We ask for your patience and understanding during this time. If you have questions please contact Jon Watson, Public Utilities Superintendent at 763-493-8008 or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also contact Richard Luckow, Water Treatment Plant Supervisor at 763-315-8412 or email him at email@example.com .
