Full Notification

Today at about 11:30 a.m. officers responded to a major accident at Sylvan Ave and Wycliffe. Callers reported an unknown vehicle had gone over the bridge into the water. A H/M, approximately 60 years old drove over the sylvan bridge, crashed through the guard rails and fell approximately 30 feet down into the Trinity River.

The driver was transported to Parkland Hospital and was still alive.

This incident is currently under investigation and NOK has not been notified yet. This incident is registered under case # 279332-X.
