Chula Vista Nature Center open during holiday weekend. 
If you are looking for something fun and educational to do with the kids this holiday weekend, why not bring them to the Chula Vista Nature Center! Although the Center is closed Thanksgiving Day, they will be open Nov. 27-29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
All other city facilities will be closed Nov. 26 and 27. Civic Center Library will re-open Nov. 29; EastLake branch is closed until Nov. 30 and the South Chula Vista Branch is closed Nov. 26 until Dec. 1.
The City's recreation centers and gyms will be closed Nov. 26-29 except for Parkway Gym which will be open on Sun., Nov. 29. Both city pools will be closed Nov. 26-29.
Trash pick up will be delayed by one day for Thursday and Friday service only. All city offices will re-open for normal business on Monday, November 30.
