Elevated Fire Danger this afternoon. Minimum afternoon relative humidity is forecast to drop to around 30% across southeast Missouri, Southern Illinois, Southwest Indiana and Western Kentucky this afternoon. This coupled with very dry vegetation and north winds of 10 to 15 MPH will result in an elevated fire danger. Conditions will improve during the early evening as winds subside and the humidity level rises.
