Walnut Creek Police report on a suspicious circumstance involving a juvenile 
On 9/21/10 at approximately 4:15 p.m. a 13 year old boy was in the Encina Grande Shopping Center (Ygnacio/Oak Grove) when a dark blue, midsize Chevy SUV pulled up. The driver spoke to the boy and said something similar to "you don't remember me but I know your mother and she wanted me to pick you up."
The 13 year old ran away and contacted a security guard working at the shopping center. The security guard looked for the vehicle without success. The juvenile returned home and the incident was reported to WCPD later that evening.
The driver was described as a white male, late 30's-40's, bald, green eyes with a goatee, approx. 5'10", heavy set wearing a white t-shirt and dark pants.
The passenger was described as a white male, 30's, short blond hair, with no further description.
We hope to release a composite sketch of the driver later today.
