Crime incident summary from Nov 9-12, 2009 from the Patrol Division. Please note this is not a comprehensive list of incidents. It is a snapshot of incidents that may be relevant to your neighborhood.
ARDEN HILLS
Home Burglary – 32xx Sandeen Road – between 9 p.m. 11/7 and 10 a.m. 11/9. No forced entry – door may have been inadvertently left unlocked. Envelope containing cash and checks from a garage sale were stolen from desk drawer.
Attempted Garage Burglary – 32xx Lake Johanna Boulevard – between 9 p.m. 11/9 and 6 p.m. 11/10. Garage service door pried. No entry gained.
Theft from Auto – Bethel College, 39xx Bethel Drive – between 10 p.m. 11/8 and 8:30 a.m. 11/9. Four parked vehicles had windows broken out. CD player stolen from one vehicle; unknown what is missing from other 3 cars.
Auto Theft – Bethel College, 39xx Bethel Drive – between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. 11/12. Black 1996 Honda Accord stolen from SE parking lot.
Theft – Cub Foods, 37xx Lexington Avenue – 4 p.m. 11/8. 18 YO man cited for shoplifting.
Assault – Bethel College, 39xx Bethel Drive – 4 a.m. 11/8. Unknown male knocked female student down in parking lot & punched her, knocking her unconscious. Victim had broken ribs and concussion. Suspect was masked male, unknown race, 6’0, medium build.

LITTLE CANADA
Armed Robbery – The Perfect Tan, 26xx Rice Street – 5:30 p.m. 11/11. Money taken at gunpoint. Suspect – B/M, 16 – 25 YOA, 5’5 – 5’7, slender build, dark complexion, hair cut short on sides & rounded on top, acne or acne scars on cheeks, wearing zip-up black jacket.
Home Burglary – 1xx Demont Avenue #126 – between 3p.m. and 5 p.m. 11/12. Forced entry through apartment window. Food and loose change taken. Estranged adult son is suspected.
Theft – 1xx Demont Avenue – between 7 p.m. 11/7 and 5 p.m. 11/11. Green Trek Navigator bicycle stolen from bike rack in parking garage.

SHOREVIEW
Theft from Auto – Dog Park, 58xx Rice Creek Parkway – about 5:30 p.m. 11/7. Window broken out on Subaru Forester. Purse stolen.
Theft – 43xx Reiland Lane – between 11 a.m. 11/8 and 8 a.m. 11/9. Tool box stolen from unlocked garage.
Theft – Community Center, 45xx Victoria Street – between noon and 1 p.m. 11/9. Locker broken into. Purse stolen.
Theft – YMCA, 37xx Lexington Avenue – between 11 a.m. and noon 11/9. Two gym lockers in men’s locker room pried open. Wallet stolen from one locker. Nothing of value taken from other locker.
Criminal Damage to Property – Oak Grove School, 3xx Hwy 96 – between 7:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. 11/11. Window broken out on teacher’s Toyota Rav4.
VADNAIS HEIGHTS
Theft from Auto – 11xx County Road E – between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. 11/11. Back window on Honda CRV broken out. Items taken.
Theft – Wal-Mart, 8xx County Road E – 1:30 p.m. 11/11. Customer forgot his wallet at checkout counter. Store surveillance tapes show female customer next in line took wallet. Suspect is W/F, short, with blonde hair.
Graffiti – 32xx Fanum Road – between 5 p.m. 11/6 and 3 p.m. 11/8. Graffiti spray painted on east wall of business.
Criminal Damage to Property – 10xx County Road D – 10:30 p.m. 11/6. Unknown suspect threw rock through bedroom window. Two latex gloves recovered outside window. Rock also recovered.
WHITE BEAR TOWNSHIP
Dog Complaint – 11xx Iris Drive – 10 a.m. 11/8. Neighbor’s 40 lb. Bulldog-mixed breed dog bit complainant’s 10 lb. Bolognese dog in the dog’s hind quarters.
