UPDATE: MISSING PERSON SEARCH
The Etowah County Sheriff’s Office has completed the search of a wooded area located near where Michael Winford Williams was last seen, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
The investigation into the possible whereabouts of Williams will continue as Sheriff Office investigators speak to neighbors and others who know him.
Williams, 58, of Boaz, was last seen on Saturday, November 7th, at 1640 Thornhill Road, Boaz.
Williams is a white male, 5’ 9” tall, 170 lbs., with brown eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt, blue work pants and tennis shoes.
Williams is diabetic and should be taking medication for his medical condition.
A family member reported him missing on Tuesday, November 10th.
Anyone with information regarding Williams is asked to contact the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office at 256-546-2825.
Agencies involved in the search include: Etowah County Sheriff’s Office investigators and aviation unit and members of the Mountainboro Volunteer Fire Department.
