On September 19th, 2010 at 3:15 AM, police stopped Tanya Saladino for driving the east in the west bound lanes of Route 22. Sgt. DeWire was traveling west when he saw a vehicle coming directly at him. The officer swerved to the right, turned around, and stopped the vehicle on Route 22 near the PNC Bank. When Sgt. DeWire approached the vehicle, he saw signs of intoxication. Sobriety Tests were done and Tanya Saladino was arrested for DUI. Her vehicle was towed from the scene and she was charged with DUI, having an unregistered vehicle, and driving the wrong way on a one way road. She was released to a friend.

On September 11th 12:38 AM Ptl Wester stopped James Pajunas of 42 St in the Whitehouse Station section of Readington Twp for speeding on Main Street. Mr. Pajunas smelled of an alcoholic beverage and showed signs of intoxication. Sobriety Tests were conducted and Mr. Pajunas performed poorly. He was arrested and transported to police HQ. He was charged with DUI, refusal to submit to breath testing, and speeding. He was released to a friend.

On September 20th, 2010 at 12:26 AM police were called to the WAWA on Route 202 at Summer Road for a reported assault in the parking lot. Ptl. Mackiewicz arrived and determined that a male was inside the store alleging that his husband punched him and bit him in the stomach. The victim showed officers a bit mark on his lower stomach. Officers spoke to the assailant, who was in a car in the parking lot. He admitted to assaulting him husband and was arrested. The victim did not want to apply for a restraining order and left the area after being evaluated by the rescue squad. The assailant was transported to police HQ where he was charged with simple assault. He was released to a friend pending a mandatory court date in municipal court.
