Location of Occurrence: 400 block Mayhew Way, Walnut Creek.

Crime description/code: 245 PC Assault with a Deadly Weapon


Narrative:
On Sunday 9/19/10 at 02:19 hrs. WCPD responded to a reported fight with a stabbing at the 400 BLOCK on Mayhew Way. On arrival, officers located a male adult victim with a stab wound to the chest. He was transported to John Muir Hospital with a serious injury. A second male adult victim was found with a stab wound to the back. He also was transported to John Muir. Additionally, a third male adult victim was found lying in the street with injuries from a fight. He also was transported to John Muir. Officers determined that a fight had broken out at a party at the residence that resulted in the above injuries. Several party-goers were detained and questioned. A male adult and a female juvenile were arrested for Public Intoxication. Descriptions of the incident were widely varied and the incident is currently under investigation.

1. John Cowell, 19 yrs. Concord
2. Female juvenile
