On November 14 from 10am-2pm the Riverside Police Department will participate in Operation Medicine Cabinet. This Statewide initiative gives the public an opportunity to dispose of expired or unwanted prescription medications that are commonly abused. Please take advantage of this oppportunity to keep your medications from being abused or entering the water supply when not properly disposed of. Police will not ask questions about the medicines, nor will they ask for identification. All medications collected will be disposed of by the DEA. The medication can be dropped off anonymously at the Riverside Police Department located at 1 W. Scott Street Riverside, NJ.
