Central Avenue at 49th Avenue NE will be closed Saturday, September 11th, 2010 from 5am-10pm. 
Motorists will encounter detours on metro area roadways when Central Avenue (Highway 65) at
49th Avenue NE is closed between 5am and 10pm on September 11, 2010. As part of the Gateway Pedestrian Bridge reconstruction, the closure is needed as crews place
the new bridge span.
Motorists should follow the posted detour routes:
Central Avenue North: 44th Avenue NE to University Avenue to 49th Avenue NE
Central Avenue South: 49th Avenue NE to University Avenue to 44th Avenue NE
Please remember to slow down in work zones.
