Crime incident summary from Nov 2-5, 2009 from the Patrol Division. Please note this is not a comprehensive list of incidents. It is a snapshot of incidents that may be relevant to your neighborhood.
ARDEN HILLS
Home Burglary – 45xx Prior Court – between 7 p.m. and midnight 11/3. Entry through unlocked back door. Safe was taken.
Theft from Auto – Bethel College, 39xx Bethel Drive – between 11 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. 10/29. CD deck, subwoofer & amp stolen from vehicle.
Theft from Auto – Big 10 Bar, 47xx Hwy 10 – between 10 a.m. 10/29 and 2 a.m. 10/30.Passenger window broken out on employee’s van. GPS, jacket, suitcase, & camera stolen.
Theft from Auto – Flaherty’s Bowling, 12xx County Road E – 6:30 p.m. 11/4. Passenger window of Nissan broken out. GPS taken.
Criminal Damage to Property – 19xx Todd Drive – 7 p.m. 11/2. Unknown suspect threw rock, breaking window on child’s bedroom.

Theft from Auto – 26xx Sylvan Street – between midnight and 10:30 a.m. 11/5. Driver’s window smashed out. Cooler taken from trunk.
Auto Theft – Valvoline Oil, 26xx Rice Street – between 5 p.m. 10/31 and 7 a.m. 11/2. Tan 2001 Dodge Neon stolen from parking lot. Car was recovered in Minneapolis.
Auto Theft – 3xx Labore Road – between 1 p.m. 10/31 and 3 p.m. 11/1. White Honda Civic Hatchback stolen

SHOREVIEW
Home Burglary – 56xx Hodgson Road – 10:30 a.m. 11/5. Forced entry through garage service door and then to house door. TV stolen.
Theft from Auto – 55xx Brickstone Court – 9:30 a.m. 11/2. Victim found unknown male in her car stealing car radio. Suspect ran on foot. She chased him and knocked him down. He dropped the radio and she recovered it. Suspect is A/M, 5’7, 280 lbs, short hair, wearing short sleeve red shirt & baggy blue jeans.
Theft from Auto – 31xx Victoria Street – between 5 p.m. 11/4 and 7 a.m. 11/5. Wallet & GPS taken. 2nd vehicle in driveway was rummaged through.
Shoplifting – Target, 38xx Lexington Avenue – 8 p.m. 11/2. 38 YO career criminal arrested for stealing pre-paid cell phones. Also wanted on warrant for domestic assault.
Criminal Damage to Property – 3xx Oakwood Drive – between 7 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. 11/5. Driver’s window broken out on vehicle. Nothing taken from car.
VADNAIS HEIGHTS
Armed Robbery – Subway, 10xx Hwy 96 – 7:30 p.m. 11/2. Cash stolen from register drawer. Suspect #1 = B/M, 5’4, wearing black hooded sweatshirt & red bandana across face. Suspect #2 = B/M, 5’4, with shaved head and pock-marked face, displayed silver handgun.
Attempted Commercial Burglary – Advanced Graphics, 36xx Labore Road – between 5 p.m. 11/2 and 7 a.m. 11/3. Metal door handle on rear door pried, dented and scratched. No entry made.
Commercial Burglary – Bill’s Paving Company, 39xx Labore Road – reported 11/5. Owner said wire welder, Stihl saw and transit scope stolen from business three weeks ago. No sign of forced entry.
Home Burglary – 7xx County Road F – 11 a.m. 11/5. Forced entry through garage service door and then through unlocked door into house. Attempt was made to remove 50” TV but burglar(s) left it by front door.
Theft – Holiday Inn Express, 11xx County Road E – 4 p.m. 10/29. Security video showed two W/Ms enter hotel & proceed to laundry room. Change drawer stolen from laundry machines. Suspects left in green 2-door Mercury Cougar. This is 2nd or 3rd time thefts like this have happened in this laundry room.
Shoplifting – Wal-Mart, 8xx County Road E – noon 11/3. 48 YO woman cited for shoplifting merchandise.
WHITE BEAR TOWNSHIP
Theft from Auto – 26xx Martin Way – between 5 p.m. 11/1 and 7 a.m. 11/2. GPS stolen from unlocked vehicle.
Criminal Damage to Property – 24xx 4th Street – between 3 p.m. 10/30 and 7:30 a.m. 10/31. Four jack o’ lanterns smashed onto 2002 Mitsubishi Montero in driveway. Car scratched.
