Hasbrouck Heights Police are alerting residents to a Hazardous Material situation in the area of Collins/Meyers.
Bergen County HAZMAT Unit has responded to the area and determined the area is safe for all traffic. Chemical determined to be industrial ammonia from an older refrigator left for garbage disposal. Residents are advised to contact the DPW in advance if such items will be left for garbage.
