Full Notification

The Potter Co. Fire Department and several area fire/law enforcement agencies responded to a gas line rupture/fire in the Prairie West area of Bushland at about 1:00 AM today. The Amarillo Fire Dept. and APD officers were sent to assist in the area. Early reports are that two or three people were injured and one home was burned, but a full assesment of damage will not be possible until daylight hours. Bushland ISD has announced that school will start at 9AM and that busses will run one hour late. The Amarillo Emergency Operations Center and the Potter Co. Sheriff's Office have released additional information on this. event.
