CITYFEST TO BE A BIG HIT
Mayor Carlo DeMaria Jr. is extending an invitation to all groups to join in for this years CityFest. Organizers recently confirmed the onstage performances, and are still putting together more entertainment for the day.
This years lineup includes,
Bogus Crew
Devri Band
Banda Belo
The Italian Serenaders
Wah-Lum Academy Lion Dance
Capoeira Demonstrations
And a Live Zumba Demonstration
CityFest organizers are also excited to announce a performance by renowned Canadian afro-funk band “Mr. Something Something,” the Juno (Canada’s version of a Grammy,) nominated band will come complete with their “SOUNDCYCLE.” Volunteer audience members can help power the show this year as CityFest goes green and healthy. More information to come next week.
Area restaurants are signing up so the day will be complete with food, entertainment and fun. Remember to mark the calendar for September 18th in Everett Square from 11am to 4pm.
