*Tropical Storm Warnings are in effect along the entire NJ coast south of Sandy Hook, with Tropical Storm Watches for most of the rest of the State.
*Hurricane Earl will begin to affect NJ around midnight, with an increase in winds and early rain bands along the coast.
*According to the latest track of the storm, the entire event should affect NJ from midnight tonight through Friday night before it moves quickly into the New England region.
Impact:
*Coastal sustained winds of 40 MPH are possible, with gusts of up to 60 MPH, lesser amounts inland.
*Mostly minor tidal flooding is possible with some pockets of moderate tidal flooding.
*A small storm surge of 1-2 feet may also accompany the storm, and could be slightly worse along Raritan Bay south shores as the storm departs the area.
*1 inch of rain is possible along the coast, with 1/2 inch inland.
*Rip currents are likely along all NJ Beaches.
