Crime incident summary from October 26-29, 2009 from the Patrol Division. Please note this is not a comprehensive list of incidents. It is a snapshot of incidents that may be relevant to your neighborhood.

ARDEN HILLS

Burglary – Bethel College, 39xx Bethel Drive – between 12:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. 10/28. Wallet stolen from purse in dorm room in Heritage Hall. No forced entry. Stolen credit cards used fraudulently at four shops at Rosedale.

Theft from Auto – 11xx Pleasant Circle – between 7 p.m. 10/27 and 7 p.m. 10/28. Passenger window broken out. Ballistic vest stolen. Same vehicle was broken into 6 weeks earlier & GPS stolen in that incident.

Theft from Auto – 38xx Lexington Avenue – between 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. 10/29. Passenger window broken out. Flowered tote bag containing personal papers stolen.

Theft from Auto – 35xx Lexington Avenue – 7:35 p.m. 10/29. Passenger window broken out. Purse stolen. Stolen credit card used fraudulently at Cub Foods.

Auto Theft – Bethel College parking lot, 12xx Dunlap Street – between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. 10/27. Honda Civic stolen.

LITTLE CANADA

Commercial Burglary – Tri-State Bobcat, 31xx Spruce Street – 1 a.m. 10/29. Door pried open. Cash stolen from register till. Bose wave radio also taken.

Theft from Auto – 2xx Ryan Drive – 7 p.m. 10/27. Rear window broken out. Battery stolen.

Attempted Auto Theft – 2xx County Road B2 – 3:30 a.m. 10/28. Steering wheel cut off of Olds Cutlass. Suspect is W/M, 20s, 5’8 – 5’10, medium build, white shoulder-length hair, wearing dark pants and camouflage jacket in white Ford.

No incidents

SHOREVIEW

Home Burglary – 48xx Churchill Street – between 9 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. 10/27. No sign of forced entry. Laptop stolen.

Theft from Auto – Shoreview Community Center, 45xx Victoria Street – between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. 10/26. Passenger window broken out. Bowling bag, tie-dyed bowling shoes & change taken. Bag and one shoe recovered one block away.

Theft – Target, 38xx Lexington Avenue – 9:30 p.m. 10/26. 31 YO woman & 18 YO woman arrested for stealing clothing.

Criminal Damage to Property – 59xx St. Albans Street – between 9 p.m. 10/26 and 6:30 a.m. 10/27. BBQ sauce smeared on three cars’ windshields. Driver’s window broken out & front fender dented on one car.

Criminal Sexual Conduct – Shoreview Community Center, 48xx Victoria Street – 8:30 p.m. 10/24. Man assaulted 16 YO female as she got to her car in parking lot. She struggled with suspect & got away. Suspect is B/M, about 18 YO, wearing dark shirt.


VADNAIS HEIGHTS

Garage Burglary – 1xx Meadowood Place – between 10 p.m. 10/24 and 8 a.m. 10/25. Van & car in unlocked garage rummaged through. Keys, Golf clubs, golf bag, phone charger taken.

Theft from Auto – 5xx Belland Avenue – between 8 p.m. 10/26 and 7 a.m. 10/27. DVD player, amp & subwoofer stolen from unlocked truck.

Theft from Auto – Country Inn Suites, 35xx Vadnais Center Drive – between 9 p.m. 10/28 and 6:45 a.m. 10/29. Passenger window broken out on rental Toyota Camry. Laptop and GPS stolen.

Identity Theft – 3xx Jay Way – 10/27. Cell phone & credit account opened using resident’s information. Victim is vulnerable adult.

WHITE BEAR TOWNSHIP

Attempted Robbery – Four Seasons Park, Hugo Road & Buffalo Street – 7 p.m. 10/29. Three males grabbed 17 YO male & pointed handguns at him. Demanded money and cell phone, but victim refused. Suspects left. No injuries. Suspects = 3 Asian males, all 5’5, thin builds, wearing baggy clothes. One suspect wore diamond stud earring in left ear. Suspect vehicle is Toyota.

Theft from Auto – 52xx Portland Woods – between 11 p.m. 10/23 and 5 a.m. 10/24. Wallet stolen from vehicle. An attempt had been made to use one stolen credit card to pay a Pay Pal on-line account.
