Court Sting Operation in progress at South Bay Courthouse in Chula Vista.
Chula Vista - Officers from the Chula Vista Police Department's DUI Enforcement Team will be conducting a "Zero Tolerance" Court Sting Operation on Tuesday January 27, 2009.
This Court Sting Operation is in a series of DUI enforcement operations aimed at increasing the public awareness and decreasing the number of drivers who drive while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. This operation is intended to deter those who have a suspended driver's license as a result of a DUI conviction from driving. Those observed driving with a suspended license will receive a misdemeanor citation and their vehicle will be impounded.
The Court Sting Operation will be set up at the South Bay Courthouse on Tuesday January 27, 2009. It will start at approximately 2:30 pm.
