**Livonia Police** is releasing information about a recent crime/crime activity near your address.

**A larceny from auto took place at the AMC parking lot, where the owner's registration and garage door opener was taken. This was a crime repeated several times a year ago, where the culprits would then go to the owner's home and use the garage door opener to break in and burglarize the residents. SAFETY TIP - take your automatic garage door opener out of your vehicle when possible and/or conceal it inside a locked glove box - also keep your home address confidential by placing your vehicle's registration inside your wallet/purse**
