INCIDENT: Residential Burglar Caught By Police With Stolen Proceeds.

On the evening of August 24th, 2010, officers from the Gloucester Township Police responded to a home on the first block of St. Moritz Drive for a reported burglary. The investigation revealed that several pieces of jewelry, electronics and cash were taken from the home.
Enhanced patrols were conducted in the area which led to a car stop of a vehicle in which 24 year old Kyle Crosby was operating. Within Crosby's vehicle, officers located several of the proceeds that were taken during the aforementioned burglary. Mr. Crosby was taken into custody and brought to police headquarters where he gave detectives the name of another person who he claimed assisted him in the crime. As the investigation progressed, it was determined that Crosby lied to police about the alleged accomplice and that he had committed the burglary by himself.

Kyle J. Crosby, of St. Moritz Drive, was charged with 3rd Degree Burglary, 3rd Degree Theft, and 4th Degree Falsely Implicating Another. He was remanded to the Camden County Adult Correctional Facility on 10% of $50,000.00 bail.
