Auto Theft Suspects Arrested
On August 24, 2010, at 2:30 a.m., officers responded to an auto theft in the area of 3200 S. Lakewood. The victim reported that his silver 1996 Honda Accord was just stolen. The suspects had left a white, 1995 Honda Accord in its place. Witnesses said they had observed the suspects exit the white Honda and leave in the silver Honda. While officers were at the scene, Cpl. T. Ford located the silver Honda at the McDonalds at 3100 S. Memorial. The vehicle pulled into the IHOP parking lot at which time three suspects were taken into custody. The three suspects were arrested for 2 counts of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. Arrested was Jonny Gonzales, DOB: 01/13/92, a 16 yoa male and a 13 yoa male.
