The Novak Family and The Citizens Crime Commission of Delaware Valley have now posted a new reward, from $6,000 to $20,750, for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) who shot and killed Matthew Novak Jr on 9-28-2008 at 13th and Fairmount Avenues in Philadelphia.

Friends and family hosted the "Who Killed Matt Novak?" Family Picnic and Reward Fundraiser on 8-14-2010, as well as accepted donations through our PayPal and various social network sites, which raised the money to lift the reward over $20,000. It was obviously a major success!

Now that the reward has been raised, we're now attempting to keep this murder fresh in the public's minds, and hopefully someone with information will call the anonymous tip line at 215-546-TIPS (8477).

Reward for the information that will lead to the arrest of the driver and occupants of the 2006 to 2008 Electric Blue Chevy Impala with NEW JERSEY tags similar to the one below. The occupants, reported to possibly be 2 to 3 black males, picked up Matt Novak at 6th & Green St. in Philadelphia on September 28, 2008 (shortly after the Puerto Rican Day Parade). Matt flagged them down after his car broke down. Matt entered the vehicle, they drove to 13th and Fairmount Avenues where Matt was shot as he stepped out of the Impala. If you have any information about this shooting, or know someone who drives or drove a Electric Blue Chevy Impala with New Jersey tags and may have been in Philly on 9-28-2008 and/ or attending the Puerto Rican Day Parade, call the Citizens Crime Commission anonymous tip line 215-546-TIPS.
