First Day of School is 8/25/10. 
The Walnut Creek Police Department would like to remind everyone to drive carefully in our school zones. Many schools are starting up this week so please expect traffic congestion. WCPD Traffic officers will be monitoring traffic within our school zones and will be watching for speeding vehicles, distracted driving (cell phone use),and seat belt compliance. Please respect the speed limits to ensure we have a safe start to our school year. Thank you and please drive carefully
