The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* Flash Flood Watch for northeast Arizona. The watch area is east
of a line from Page to Forest Lakes through White River. It
includes all of Navajo and Apache counties.
* Until 8 PM MST this evening
* a very moist airmass is in place across northeast Arizona. A
weather disturbance is forecast to move across Apache and Navajo
counties this afternoon. This combination creates the threat of
thunderstorms producing rainfall rates over one inch per hour.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may lead to flash
flooding in the watch area. People... especially those located
along area creeks... rivers or other flash flood prone
areas... should monitor forecasts and be prepared to take
immediate action should flash flood warnings be issued.
