H1N1 flu cases increase in the Columbia area.

H1N1 flu cases increase in the Columbia area.

The state has begun to receive small shipments if H1N1 flu vaccine and has begun dispensing these initial doses to high risk groups of the population as identified by the Center for Disease Control. As soon as there are enough doses for the general public, DHEC will announcing H1N1 flu vaccine clinic sites. H1N1 and seasonal flu vaccine clinic locations can be found at: http://www.scdhec.gov/flu/clinics.asp

The City of Columbia Department of Homeland Security is working closely with DHEC Region 3 Public Health and will post more information as soon as it is available
