BOXBOROUGH, MA – On August 12, 2010, Boxborough Police received a report of a past sexual assault.
Detective Benjamin Lavine and Patrolman Brett Pelley were assigned to investigate the case. Later that day, Jeckyll A. SEVERINO, 26, of 318 Codman Hill Rd. #26 in Boxborough was arrested and charged with aggravated rape, assault and battery, and malicious destruction of property valued over $250.00.
“The suspect and the victim in this incident are known to one another,” said Sergeant Warren O’Brien, Public Information Officer. “While the case remains under investigation, there is no reason for the community to be unduly alarmed over the occurrance.”
SEVERINO was arraigned on the charges at Ayer District Court on August 13. He was ordered held on $3500.00 cash bail and ordered to surrender his passport.
