Numerous vehicle break-ins around the county, bring valuables inside and lock your car 
There have been numerous vehicle break-ins around Boone County. The most recent have been in Candlewick around Stanford Way.
The Boone County Sheriff's Department urges people to bring valuables inside every night and to lock your car.
The majority of items taken are GPS, laptops, I-Pods, and cash.
