Lynel Joey Davis, 23 yr old Detroit resident was arraigned today in 32-A District Court in front of Judge LaRose and charged with the following:

Count 1: Home Invasion-2nd Degree, 15 yr felony.
Count 2: Attempt Home Invasion-1st Degree, 5 yr felony.
Count 3: Attempt Home Invasion-1st Degree, 5 yr felony.
Count 4: Larceny in A Building, 4 yr felony.

Davis was also charged as a Habitual 3rd offender, meaning the conviction penalties double.

Bond was set at $80,000.00 cash. The Preliminary Examination is scheduled for October 28, 2009 @1:30 p.m.

Investigation continues on connection with the series of nineteen daylight home invasions over the past weeks. Please report any suspicious activity in your neighborhood immediately.

We have not had any additional Home Invasions since Saturday morning.
