The Hawai'i Police Department is requesting the public's help in locating a 41-year-old Kona woman.

Tomoko Ioh was last seen Sunday (October 18) around 10:30 a.m. leaving her home and operating a green and silver 1999 Suzuki Grand Vitara.

At 6 p.m., her vehicle was located at the Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawaii but she has not yet been found. The Hawaii Fire Department plans to continue searching at daylight.

Ioh is described as Japanese, 5-foot-1, 110 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She has a medical condition that may require medication.

Police ask that anyone with information on her whereabouts call the Police Department's non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
