Armed Robbery of Mr. A's party store. 
Today at 10:15am the Mr A's party store located at 19210 Mack Ave was Robbed.
An alert citizen noticed a suspicious subject putting a mask on his face and walking into the party store and called 911.
The suspect, who was armed with a revolver, took the money and ordered the clerk, store owner and three other customers into the basement, then fled the store.
The dispatcher kept the alert citizen on the phone who gave the police updates as to where the suspect was heading. Numerous police, including officers from G.P.F.s and G.P.C. were able to corner the suspect in a backyard in the 5000 block of Hillcrest in Detroit. He was taken into custody without incident and the money and gun were recovered.
He is being held in the G.P.F. jail awaiting warrant authorization from the Wayne County Prosecutors Office.
