HIRAM POLICE DEPARTMENT PARTNERS WITH GREYSTONE NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH GROUP
Chief Gary Yandura recently met with the Greystone Neighborhood Watch Group. As a result, Hiram Police Department is now actively partnered with this gated community to ensure a safe and secure neighborhood environment. The Neighborhood Watch program is designed to organize crime watch groups and form partnerships with law enforcement to fight crime in neighborhoods. The HPD Officers are now updated on security concerns, patrol requests, and can view Greystone’s security camera system on a real-time and remote basis. Chief Yandura’s view on neighborhood security is “The only way we can keep our neighborhoods safe is to cooperate with involved residents and share information. It is exciting to see Greystone Neighborhood Watch Group proactive in making their homes more secure. We look forward to working with all of you.”
