Norwalk Sheriff's Station is hosting a 10K/5K run at La Mirada Regional Park on Oct 24th at 8 am. 
The Norwalk Sheriff's Station is hosting a 10K/5K run on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 8 am at the La Mirada Regional Park.
This event is open to the public. The cost is only $25 per runner and includes a t-shirt. Registration begins at 7 am.
This run is part of the Sheriff's Department "Mug Run" series. There are a number of "mug runs" throughout the year that are open to public. If you compete in three different runs, you will earn a glass mug.
The proceeds benefit the Norwalk Station Baker to Vegas running team. The Baker to Vegas Relay race is held every year in the Mojave Dessert and attracts up to 220 different police running teams. The race is a total of 120 miles long starting in the town of Baker and ending in Las Vegas. Ech runner usually runs 6.2 miles or more.
Join us on Saturday, Oct 24th and run either the 10K or 5K race through the beautiful streets of La Mirada.
