Male deceased after apparent shooting 
August 3, 2010 (MINNEAPOLIS) Just after 6:45 tonight patrol officers in the Fourth Precinct responded to a shooting call in the 2600 block of Penn Avenue North. When the officers arrived they found the body of an adult male in a vacant lot with an apparent gunshot wound.
Patrol officers detained an unknown number of individuals in the area for questioning. Minneapolis Police Homicide investigators are at the scene and at this point the circumstances leading up to this incident are unknown. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct their investigation into this case and release the identity of the deceased and the cause of death.
